The minority linguistic context of French-speaking communities, where English-speaking culture predominates, influences community integration and the creation of social ties for immigrant women. The dispersion of Francophone communities and their geographic isolation limit encounters between Francophones and the creation of support networks specific to Francophone immigrant women.
This strategy would not be possible without the commitment of our partners. We invite governments, community organizations, employers and individual Canadians to join us in this collective effort to ensure an equitable and prosperous future for all Francophone immigrant women in Canada.
